Outdoor Weather Clothing Guidelines

Weather in Wisconsin can change by the hour. It is always important to check the weather reports before sending your child to school. Divine Savior offers two recesses each day for the younger grades and one recess for the older grades. Students are expected to have the proper attire to be safe outside during the recess time. Below is a guide of what is expected for students during different weather conditions. Note of Shorts: Per our dress code, shorts may be worn from the beginning of the school year up to October 31 and after April 1. They must be no more than 4 inches above the knee. Shorts are not permitted to be worn to any liturgy or any other service. The students may change into shorts after mass/services.
