Catholic Schools: Faith, Academics, Service
Join us as we celebrate Catholic Education January 29 - February 4, 2012. During this weeklong celebration we will enjoy many fun activities and celebrate Catholic Education.
January 29 - 9 AM opening mass at Ss. Peter & Paul Kiel. Country breakfast and Faith, Academics and Service Zones in the gym.
January 30 - God Bless America; (weather permitting) students will walk to Veteran's park for a prayer service. There will be speakers at both campuses talking about service. Each class will write to another Catholic School across the country. Dress-up: red, white and blue.
January 31 - We All Have a Calling - The elementary school will start the day with Mass followed by "Donuts with Dad and Muffins with Mom". Speakers will share information about various vocations with the children. The middle school students will visit a local convent from 12:30-2:00pm to celebrate a prayer service together and learn about vocations. Dress-up: Sunday's Best - Nice Clothes.
February 1 - We Are Part of a School Family. An alumnus will give the students a tour of the school as they remember it. Alumnus will be treated to lunch and participate in an open house from 11-12noon. Dress-up: School Colors.
February 2 - We Are All Unique and Special – Blizzards and books! Dress-up: Crazy Day!
February 3 - We
Love Our Teachers, Staff and Volunteers. All
school mass at 9:30am at Holy Rosary, followed by the school talent show
at 10:30am.
On Friday evening the Home & School Association is hosting a winter dance
at the New Holstein campus from 6-9pm.
February 4 - Closing mass at 4:00p.m. at Holy
Rosary. Refreshments to follow in the school gym.
